Additional Property Attributes

The Phase I recommended: Sampling suspect ACMs observed at the Site that include floor and ceiling tile. Sampling and analysis of those materials would be necessary in order to determine the asbestos content of these items, if any. Storing the 55-gallon drums, oil and gas containers, the drum labeled as corrosive liquid, and the diesel AST in a more secure manner to prevent release. If any of these materials are waste, then EWI recommends that they be properly disposed. Proper disposal of the tires onsite. Removal and proper disposal of the debris and trash piles onsite. Performing further research to determine which environmental permits, if any, are required for Site operations, removal and disposal of waste products and debris found onsite, and disposal of waste tires. No cleanup requirements came out of the Phase I assessment. The Phase I assessment was conducted prior to purchase for the current owner, who chose not to divulge how he funded the acquisition of 1.35 million, choosing to say it was "borrowed money." The suspected ACM did not need to be checked since it was not disturbed for redevelopment, which consisted of the property sale. The drums contained product being used by tenant which became new owner, thus no REC.

Former Use: The site has historically been used as a sawmill and pastureland.
