Additional Property Attributes

US EPA Assessment Grant funding was used to conduct Phase I and Pase II ESAs at this former electrical substation site for the purpose of preparing the site for future residential development. PCBs were detected in soil and on the concrete pad, but at concentrations less than the Part 201 residential criteria and TSCA Subpart D cleanup standards.

Former Use: Site was occupied by an electrical substation with four transformers form approximately 1957 to 2008. The electrical equipment had been removed, but concrete foundations remained at the time of the Phase I/II ESAs. Site owner, City of Wyandotte, is preparing the site for residential redevelopment.
