Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The approximately 3-acre site is currently undeveloped. Historic uses of these properties include a bakery, a roofing company, an upholstery manufacturer, and residential uses. This land was cleared in the 1970s to make way for the Park West Freeway conversion. After the project did not materialize due to citizen protest and non-compliance with environmental standards, the land was transferred to the City of Milwaukee from the State and County.
