Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The known history of operations and past ownership on the Leudtke Property is as follows: � A 1914 Sanborn Fire Insurance Map identifies the Ekalaka Hotel on the property. � A 1928 Sanborn Fire Insurance Map indicates that gas and oil were stored on the property for use by an auto parts shop and garage that were located on the property. � Personal communication between Carol Hardesty and a former employee of a bowling alley that was present on the property indicates that a gas station was in operation on the property in the 1940s until the 1950s when the tanks were removed. � The aforementioned personal communication indicates that a bowling alley operated on the property after the gas station closed. � In 1994, Vivian McKay purchased the property, and under her ownership, a bar and restaurant were operated on the premises. � In 1998, Scott Luedtke purchased the property. The Luedtke family operated a restaurant on the property. � Scott Luedtke still owns the property, which is currently vacant. No buildings remain on the property.
