The City of Romulus is seeking to expand the surrounding park area and construct a park pavilion and associated restrooms. In addition, a farmers market has been proposed for the site.

Former Use: The subject property was improved on its northern portion with the southern portion of a commercial building and associated garage beginning in at least 1940. The occupants of these former structures were not identified.
