Additional Property Attributes

Gasoline USTs were removed from the site in 1994, and the site building was unoccupied from approximately 1996 until 2009, when it was demolished/removed. US EPA Assessment Grant funding was used to conduct Phase I and Phase II ESAs of the site on behalf of the DCCBC and the City of Dearborn in 2006 and 2007. Additional assessment activities were conducted in 2010 to supplement those conducted in 2006 and 2007. Assessment activities included a geophysical survey that identified a small UST that was removed in 2010. Current site ownership intends to remediate petroleum impacts in the former gasoline USTs excavation and construct a new commercial building on the site.

Former Use: The site was undeveloped land until 1931, when an approximately 1,150 square foot gasoline service station building was constructed. Occupants of the former site building included various gasoline stations and/or oil change/service stations, from 1932 through approximatley 1995. The site building was vacant from approximately 1996 to 2009, when it was demolished and removed from the site.
