Additional Property Attributes

The subject property historically operated as a gasoline fueling station. The subject property has remained vacant land since 1997. A developer plans to construct a Sonic fast food restaurant.

Former Use: The subject property was developed prior to 1937 with the construction of a residence in the eastern portion of the subject property. In approximately 1940, the residential structure was razed and a commercial building was constructed in the eastern portion of the subject property. Numerous sources of information indicate that the commercial structure located at the subject property was operated as a gasoline filling station and occupied by Smith�s Refinery Station 1950 and Eversole Station 1954. In approximately 1959, Drake�s Refinery purchased the subject property and demolished the existing gasoline station and constructed a new gasoline filling station in the eastern portion of the subject property. Drake�s Refinery operated a gasoline filling station and automobile service garage from approximately 1959 through 1994, when the subject property was abandoned. In May 1997, Sitto Investment, Inc. purchased the subject property. Subsequent to the purchase of the subject property by Sitto Investment, Inc., six, 4,000-gallon USTs were removed 7/1997 from the subject property and the subject building was demolished in September 1997. In 2000, BKY LLC obtained the subject property. The subject property has remained vacant land since 1997.
