Additional Property Attributes

The service station building was constructed in 1950 and turned into a store in 1960s or 1970s. The site initially had problems with the USTs beginning in 1987 and issues were documented through the 1990s and 2000s until a NYSDEC funded cleanup at the site in 2006-2007 following a release of heating oil and the discovery of significantly contaminated soil associated with existing USTs. Presently, the site is used as a workshop and for general storage however, it has reportedly been abandoned by the owner due to the past contamination and current environmental lien. The site is tax delinquent.

Former Use: The property contains a one-story, 2,600 square feet building with a basement. The building was constructed in 1950 and made into a store in 1975. The property was historically used as a gasoline station, auto repair facility and convenience store. The site has a documented history of petroleum contamination and is tax delinquent.
