Former Use: Tidal marsh, leather tanneries, industrial chemical producers Parcels 4-1 - 4-6: Used for concrete recycling, excavation, and demolition business at property during 1960's-2001, land was primarily used for material processing and stockpiling of crushed stone/concrete and soil for reuse, box trailer storage. Parcels 4-9 - 4-10: Hunting/shooting club until salt marshes filled in the 1940's; storage and distribution of automotive/truck batteries during mid to late 1950's - late 1960's; chemical storage and distribution from 1960's-1989; wood cutting and building materials (sheetrock, ceiling tiles, etc.) storage in 1990; concrete block warehouse and office/trailer in 2000. Parcels 4-15 - 4-16: garage and warehouse building for box trailer storage. Parcel 4-17: wooden box manufacturer, coal shed, machine shop, printing, sawdust room, sawdust bailing, shavings vault, scrap metal yard, rubber dealers with tire retreading and storage building; manufacturers of chemical spraying products, furniture warehouse and manufacturer, smelgting operations, midget auto-racing track, truck and trailer parking are, drive-in theatre.
