Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: Until the 1950s, a majority of the property consisted of tidal marshlands. Sometime around the 1950s, the property was filled to accommodate low-intensity development. A garage building was constructed on 171 Corporation Way in 1960 and a warehouse building was constructed on 171R Corporation Way in the mid-1950s. Portions of the property were utilized for box trailer storage as well. From the 1980s through 2000, a bus company headquartered on the property, parking its buses in the open overnight and repairing them in the garage building, which also contained small offices. In addition, an automotive body repair operation was located in the garage, and the warehouse building was used for storage and maintenance of demolition-related equipment and materials. The Kazanjian family owned the property for decades. Most recently, the property was owned by Wellington Realty Company Partnership and Richard M. Kazanjian, Co-Trustee of Corporation Way Realty Trust.
