Additional Property Attributes

The property contains one structure that was originally built in 1957 as a service station. The site is listed on the MT DEQ Underground Storage Tank database. The property is currently idle and for sale. DEQ is currently developing a work plan. Dave Adams inherited the property from his dad and is conducting clean things up to sell the property. This property assessment was split between two grant cycles. $8073.62 was also used out of the FY15 assessment grant. Former Use: The site is located in Malta, MT. Surrounding properties are used for residential, commercial, institutional and transportation purposes. The site was owned by Texaco, Inc from 1957 to 1986. The main portion of the building was completed 1957 as a gas station. Frederick and Richard Robinson became owners of the site in 1986 and completed one addition to the site around 1995. Adams Convenience Store, Inc purchased the business in 2003 and operated under the name of Packy's Gas Station. Gary Adams passed away in 2012 and the property was inherited by his son, David Adams. The gas station business closed in 2011 and the property is currently being rented and utilized for a floral and gift shop.
