Additional Property Attributes

The property operated as a bulk oil tank farm from the late 1920s until the approximately 2012. At one time, a total of 11 large ASTs were present on the subject property. These ASTs were removed beginning in 1999, with the exception of Tank No. 10, which is still present and unused. The property is currently unused. An adjoining operation is interested in the property for plant expansion activities.

Former Use: The subject property was historically owned by National Steel. Ashland Oil reportedly leased the subject property from National Steel from the late 1920s until 1965. Ashland Oil developed the subject property with a bulk oil tank farm prior to 1937. After 1965, National Steel reportedly leased the subject property to various companies. The subject property was reportedly unused from 1999 until early 2004, when UOC purchased the subject property for use as a used oil storage/transfer facility. The subject property is currently unused.
