Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: This portion of the Site serves as a parking lot and storage for the neighboring 1251 Mound Avenue facility. There are currently no buildings within this portion of the Site and it is currently a gravel parking area with a grassy outlot located to the west of the parking. The 2012 City of Racine assessed property value is 10,000. The initial development of this portion of the Site appears to be for residential purposes, historical Sanborn maps depict one residential dwelling present on the 1908 map. The same residential dwelling appears on the 1933 Sanborn map. The exact Site use between 1933 and 1977 is unknown; but it is believed that the Site was used for residential purposes or vacant and used as an outlet to the neighboring 1251 Mound Avenue building.
