Property Highlights

The AAA Auto Club of Akron plans to construct an office on this property. The groundbreaking for the building was in December 2015. 8/12/16--Building has been under construction in 2016. 12/15/16 -- the office opened in late November 2016. 45 jobs were retained.

Former Use: This property is associated with a northern parcel. The Akron Lumber Company began operations in 1904 during the time when railroad tracks traversed the property. In 1922, a Hardware and Supply building was located on portions of the property. The City of Akron purchased the property in 1996 and demolished this structure. The railroad tracks have also been removed. To the east was the Akron Iron Company, which was operating in 1892.
