Additional Property Attributes

The property was highlighted in a 2012 Vacant and Dilapidated building survey as contributing to blight in the City's Historic Downtown Business District. A Phase I ESA was completed in January 2017 and no further assessment is needed. The property is ready for redevelopment. The owner has completed foundation repairs plans to continue to restore the existing structure for commercial/retail space on the first floor with residential apartments on the upper two floors.

Former Use: Historically the property was operated as a retail store and according to the February 2012 Vacant and Dilapidated Building Survey, it is listed on the National Historic Register. It is classified as high priority property based on visibility in the City's downtown historic commercial district. Current use is a mixed residential and commercial vacant building.
