Property Highlights

Former Use: The site has historically been developed as the Ogden Union Stock Yard from approximately 1906 through the 1970s. The stock yard began with the Ogden Packing Company that was organized in February 1906. The packing company required a small stock yard for the packing house. The packing house precipitated the creation of a larger stock yard that could be used by local farmers to sell and trade their livestock, not just the packing company. The stock yard operated at its highest capacity during World War I and II.
