Additional Property Attributes

Lead concentrations detected in all samples exceeded the 2006 Missouri Risk-Based Corrective Action (MRBCA) Default Target Levels (DTL) for lead, but did not exceed the Residential Risk-Based Target Levels (RBTL) for lead.

Former Use: The approximately 43 acre property is currently owned by Buchanan County but will be donated to the Missouri National Guard for use as a military training facility. The property is primarily used for agricultural purposes but local law enforcement used a small portion of the property as a shooting range from 1994 to 2003. The shooting range was set up near the center of the property toward the scarp of a hill. Only handguns and rifles were used with an estimated 10,000 rounds of ammunition expended annually.
