Additional Property Attributes

The 1.76-acre Site consists of one (1) parcel of land identified by the Fulton County tax assessor as 148.8-2-15. The Site is currently owned by Van Tent Pole Company, Inc. One (1) 2-story and one (1) 1-story industrial buildings totaling 37,444 square feet formerly improved the Site. The buildings were constructed in 1900. The buildings were destroyed by a fire in July 2020. Remnants of the buildings, foundations and the smokestack are still present at the Site. According to historical reports, the Site was utilized since at least 1902 through the 1970s as a skin mill. The Site was used to manufacture tent poles in the 1990s. Previous occupants included: Van Tent Pole, Inc; US Rabbit Fur Dressing Corp.; Maderic Manufacturing Company; Maderic Wool Co.; Pigro Leather Co., Inc.; John Johns Buck Skin Co., Inc.; John Jones Skin Mill; Hall; Jones Skin Mill; and West Mill Co. Skin Mill.
