Additional Property Attributes

The 2.2-acre Site consists of one parcel of land identified by the Fulton County tax assessor as parcel 149.5-14-22. There are no buildings or structures currently on the property other than a concrete slab on the west side of the property. Prior to 1997, the Site was occupied by multiple tanneries and industrial-use buildings. The Site historically had four separate buildings used for hide storage, skin sorting, finishing, drying, beaming, liming, coloring, and staking. A coal pile was also present onsite for heating. The Site has historically been occupied by and operated as the Mills Brothers Skin Mill, Hermann Loewenstein Inc. Custom Tanners, and Ellithorp Tanning Company. All of these businesses performed leather processing and tanning operations. The remainder of the Site included a parking lot on the northwestern edge of the property.
