Additional Property Attributes

The Subject Property includes nine (9) parcels of land between Spring Street and Bay Road. The parcels are identified on the Town of Farmington Tax Maps 49 and 60 including: R49-045-000 (0.13 acres), R49-048-000 (5.4 acres), R49-058-000 (33.59 acres), R60-017-000 (123.68 acres), R60-018-000 (210.31 acres), R60-018-007 (1.07 acres), R60-018-008 (1.13 acres) and R60-018-010 (2.38 acres), R60-018-011 (1.12 acres). The properties are currently owned by Newdam or Bruce T. Cartwright Revocable Trust and are collectively under consideration by the Town to be acquired by donation. The intended future use is primarily for conservation land, with the possibility of a few parcels to be considered for residential,

The Phase I ESA identified an area of illegal dumping on Parcels R60-017-000, R49-045-000, and R49-048-000 of the Subject Property contained junk cars, old tires, miscellaneous glass, plastic, and metal containers, metal piping, and the remains of 55-gallon drum. The potential presence of hazardous materials and petroleum products due to potential releases from the dumping area was considered a REC.
