Additional Property Attributes

This site consists of a former supermarket. The site has been developed since approximately the early 1900's and was originally several buildings housing businesses including a bank, tractor sales, feed store, butcher shop, and leather repair shop. The separate buildings were eventually combined into one when the supermarket was created. The site is owned by the VFW Post 6278, who wishes to demolish the building.

The Phase II Environmental Site Assessment confirmed the presence of asbestos-containing materials and lead-based paint. The structural integrity of the building is questionable.
