Additional Property Attributes

The Site appears to have been populated by multiple buildings such as a residential dwelling and a neighboring blacksmith and carriage shop from 1885 until 1912 according to Sanborn Fire Insurance Maps. The 1920 Sanborn Fire Insurance Map did not show the residential dwelling, and the parcel was only occupied by the blacksmith and carriage shop. The carriage shop was replaced with a woodworking business in the 1927 Sanborn Fire Insurance Map. The 1949, 1956, and 1971 Sanborn Fire Insurance Maps showed that the blacksmith and woodworking businesses have been razed and replaced by a new restaurant structure closer to the northern section of the parcel. City directories provided in the EDR report confirmed that the Site has been used as a restaurant under the title Miss Bellows Falls Diner since 1964.
