Additional Property Attributes

MassDEP conducted environmental assessment for construction of park. Former Use: Former thermal energy facility. Concentrations of metals, PAHs, and dioxins/furans in soil exceed MCP Method 1 S-1/GW-3 standards at several locations. Trace levels of asbestos are present in soil at the site, which are considered an unacceptable human health risk. All site soils should be assumed to be asbestos-containing waste material (ACM) unless otherwise determined through sample collection and analysis. Contaminated soils and ACM may be left in place if encapsulated pursuant to MassDEP requirements.
