Additional Property Attributes

Prospective purchaser for the property is interested in creating a mixed use development with four lofts on the second floor and commercial space on the main level. Plans for redevelopment are consistent with the comprehensive planning goals for the City as described in Vision 20/20 and the Jordan Valley Comprehensive Plan. Asbestos was contained within the building with no release to the environment. The asbestos was removed for redevelopment.

Former Use: The building consists of approximately 3400 square feet on the main floor and approximately 1600 ft on each the upstairs and the basement floors. The site is currently a vacated plumbing business. Based on review of the historical information, the site appears to have been developed since at least 1884. By 1884 the site was developed with 2 small buildings that operated as a candy store and drug store. Between 1886 and 1933 the site was the location of bakery/restaurant, tailor, drug and 2nd hand goods stores. The expansion of the building to the dimensions of the existing current-day appears to have occurred between approximately 1933 and 1950. Bowman & Drussa Plumbing began operation from the site between 1933 and 1946. The site was identified at addresses of 409 and 411 Boonville, 609 and 611 Boonville, and 509 and 511 Boonville.
