Additional Property Attributes

The property is currently utilized as a restaurant, Riksha, on the main floor and basement. The 2nd and 3rd floors are currently unoccupied and under construction to be developed into lofts. The redevelopment is being financed by Park Central Lofts, LLC owned by Jason Murray, the developer and owner of the subject property. Per 7-19-2011 email from O. Hough with City, City will be contacting developer or other to obtain redevelopment completion, jobs created, and changes if any for dollars leveraged.

Former Use: The property currently contains a 3-story building with a basement built in approximately 1884. The third story was added sometime between 1886 and 1891. The Riksha, a restaurant, has occupied the main floor and basement for approximately the last 16 years. Historically, the subject property has been a variety of restaurants from the 1920s to 2009. From 1884 to the early 1900s, occupants have included a drug store, boarding house, doctor's office, a saloon, and a lodge.
