The Houston Parks Board is continuing its fast paced in expanding and improving City of Houston Parks. The Brownfields Program has assisted helping them complete several of their exciting projects by providing valuable assessment dollars to provide due diligence of property potentially affected with hazardous substances. The Houston Parks Board in their efforts to grow parks land for current and future residents depends on the Brownfiels Program to provide environmental direction and assistance when faced with properties that have environmental challenges. The Houston Parks Board has added more than 400 acres of parkland along Houston's Bayous and throughout the City Limits. The Brownfields program has assisted with many properties that can be included within Houston Parks Board success.

Former Use: The property is owned by American Opportunity for Housing, Inc. This property is undeveloped and not in use.
