Additional Property Attributes

Houston Parks Board purchase the additional land to support existing Coolgreen Golf Course. The original assessment for the original acreage was assessed by the brownfields program in previous hazardous grant funding BF97699601, years 2005-2008. This 22.74 acre parcel is complimentary piece that will expand the golf course for anticipated membership and area.

Former Use: Current owner is private land owner who has intention to sell to a non-profit entity, Houston Parks Board. This sale is in support of an on going program that purchases land for the benefit and good of the public. Houston as the 4th largest City in the nation has a need for additional parks, open and green space. The Houston Parks Board intends on utilizing the land a future parks space, linear park land or hike and bike trails for the growing Houston population. A Phase I assessment is probable for this parcel of land due to the adjacent land use as with other similar tracts purchased in the same area.
