Property Highlights

Property is located at a main intersection in the Town and was a former gas station and auto repair business from 1928-2006. The tax delinquent property was abandoned when the owner passed away. Niagara County is in the process of foreclosing on the property.

Former Use: The property has been associated with commercial development for over a century. In 1915, the site was used as a general store and picture show/movie theater. By 1929, the general store was used for auto repair while the theater remained. By 1939, the entire site was used for auto repair until operations ceased in 2006. Niagara County is in the process of foreclosing on the property because of back taxes. The Town of Niagara is interested in acquiring the site for use as a town memorial park.
