Additional Property Attributes

The site has been remediated to NYS industrial cleanup standards and is ready for redevelopment. The property owner is working with the developers on a suitable site reuse.

Former Use: From at least 1910 to the mid-1990's the site was associated with heavy manufacturing. It was previously operated as a Union Carbide manufacturing facility from 1910-1986, and was later home to the Niagara Vest Corporation after 1986. Santarosa Holdings Inc. purchased the property in late 2007 with plans to redevelop the site into green industrial park for recycling.
