Additional Property Attributes

This property has been on the City's demolition list for some time. The City has been seeking funding to help demolish abandoned, dilapidated properties to revitalize the community and place such properties back into productive use. As Marshall County continues to see an increase in natural gas drilling and infrastructure, a need for workforce housing and other amenities to support the natural gas industry is increasing. The City of Cameron is located in the eastern portion of the county and is the only incorporated municipality in the area; thus, the most strategic place for future development. The City plans to use Community Development Block Grant (CBDG) funds to demolish the structure and clear the property for reuse.
