Additional Property Attributes

Town anticipates developing 10 single family units on site. Site is in a Redevelopment Project Area, Town proposes Incentive Development Zone for site. There was a tank failure of 5000 gallon UST in 1989 resulting in release of #2 oil. The tank was removed in 1999. It is unknown whether contaminated soil was encountered and/or excavated when the UST was removed.

Former Use: Prior to purchase by East Hartford Redevelopment Agency (deed/page: 2967/331 sale date: 11/28/2007), site formerly housed a 200 unit apartment complex which was demolished in 1998. Prior to that, site was used for agriculture for many years.
