Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The subject site is located on the east side of Bartholomew Avenue in an Industrial-2 zone of Hartford, Connecticut (Hartford County). According to City records, the subject site is an approximately 2.97-acre rectangular-shaped parcel owned by Partners for Hartford Renaissance, LLC. Structures located on the subject site include a four-story concrete/steel (Brick/Block exterior and Metal roof cover)former manufacturing building with a footprint of approximately 89,000 square feet. The building was historically occupied by a former machinery manufacturer, the Hanson & Whitney Company. The subject site building is currently mostly vacant; a portion of the building's first floor is currently occupied by a small cabinet company, System Cabinet. The site appears to have been undeveloped prior to 1919 when the site's building was constructed. From that time until approximately 1995, it was occupied by Hanson & Whitney Co. (a metal machinery manufacturer). A small carpet business was also an occupant of the site in the 1970's and early 1980's. The site has been generally vacant with the exception of small cabinet businesses since approximately 2000.
