Additional Property Attributes

The Phase I ESA recommended the completion of a Phase II ESA due to the current use of the property and the current/historical use of nearby properties. However, insufficient grant funding exists to complete the work. The Marion Central Corridor Master Plan identified the site within Phase 3C of its redevelopment efforts. The site will contain future office space development.

Former Use: The site, which was a grass-covered lot until approximately 1970, currently contains commercial development. Structures on the property include a metal warehouse and shed used for storing materials associated with a concrete water-proofing business. The business also contains numerous full and empty 55-gallon drums containing an anti-bonding petroleum product used for water-proofing.
