This downtown site is the future location of the Westfield Multimodal Transportation Center that will provide transportation coordination for projects within the region.

Former Use: The City of Westfield acquired the property through tax title process in the mid / late 90's. PArt of the site is vacant, part is leased to existing commercial businesses. At this point, it is unclear what the former industrial use of the site was that caused the contamination, most likely associated an on-site power plant for an industrial manufacturing facility.
