The Former Alrose Shoe property is located adjacent to the commuter rail line in Exeter, NH.

Former Use: The property is comprised of one 2.49-acre parcel of land located at 1 Rockingham Street in Exeter, New Hampshire located north of, and adjacent to the Boston & Maine Rail line. Information obtained from the Exeter Historical Society indicated that the property was likely developed in the 1860s or 1870s, just after the railroad was built. The property is currently occupied by four buildings totaling approximately 45,800 square feet of space. The property is referred to by the Town of Exeter as Map 73, Lot 186 and is currently owned by R & E Investment Group, LLC. The property is zoned C-1 - Downtown Area Commercial. The remaining portions of the property are occupied by paved parking areas, gravel parking areas, and driveway areas. The property is surrounded by the developed residential and commercial properties.
