Additional Property Attributes

The BTA Property was an area extending approximately 100-feet in all directions from a point at the center of the stream channel beneath the Mulberry Road Bridge. The area was densely vegetated with native trees, grasses and weeds. The stream was flowing at the time of the site visit. A summary of conditions observed on the BTA Property indicating the likelihood of RECs in connection with the BTA Property is presented. An analysis of the significance of the condition observed is also discussed.

Former Use: GSI gathered and reviewed historical records to determine changes on the BTA Property between 1884 and present. The history of the area indicate that the BTA Property has been undeveloped agricultural land. No record of prior development was located. This assessment has revealed no evidence of recognized environmental conditions inconnection with the property except for the following: Unauthorized dumping of miscellaneous solid waste, including agricultural chemicalcontainers has been documented at the BTA Property. The site visit did not reveal current conditions that indicate adverse impact to the environment as a result of the dumping activities. Because the planned use for this area is unimproved greenspace and with installation of signage about proper disposal of waste, there is no need for further assesment.
