Additional Property Attributes

The City conducted the limited Phase I ESA as part of a larger cluster of properties (Cluster #7). The City was unable to secure accesss to the property. As such, all observations were made from the adjoining right-of-way. A Phase II ESA would be recommended before initiating any redevelopment activities as the property contains an active auto repair shop. The City has no current plans to acquire the property nor have any developers expressed any immediate interest. The City will likely pursue sampling activities once a appropriate re-use option is identified. The site was a gas station in the 1980s. Three 12,000 gallon underground storage tanks were installed in 1981 and removed in 1988. No record was found of soils or groundwater testing for the site.

Former Use: A review of historical records indicates the property contained residential development from 1918-1963 and commercial development from 1968 to the present. The property currently contains a single-story commercial structure built in 1980. The building contains 2,520 square-feet of space and has a 12,800 square-foot of asphalt parking lot. The property was a gas station from 1981-1988.
