The property is at 12 Court Street in the City of Keene, Cheshire County, New Hampshire. The site is located in the center or Keene, NH in an area of largely commercial development. The 1.5 acre parcel is occupied by a two story brick building. The eastern portion of the Site was constructed in approximately 1858 with a bell tower and gable roof, while the western portion was constructed in two stages approximately 1911 and 1979 with a flat roof. The building is currently used for a variety of county Cheshire County functions.

The 1.5 acre parcel is occupied by a two story brick building and a parking lot. The site has been owned by Cheshire County since it bought it from the City of Keene in 1859.
