Property Highlights

The Caird site was the location of a foundry. The property is located in the heart of the State's capital, Helena, MT. This property is on the east side of a proposed Targeted Economic Development District and an EPA area wide planning grant proposal area with another BF project (Former Armory) serving as the west boundary. The Caird property is located adjacent to a major intersection in Helena and is a prime redevelopment site. The site was cleaned to residential standards.

Former Use: Caird has operated at the site since 1895. The foundry focused on fabrication of mining equipment, products for ASARCO and contracts for street posts and trolley poles.
