Additional Property Attributes

Closed bank branch building in Downtown Ottawa purchased by City, revonated and re-developed into a satelite faclity for Illinois Valley Community College. LEED Silver is being pursued for the project.

Former Use: The L-shaped parcel was most recently occupied by a local lending institution. Prior to the lending institution, the onsite structure served as the local Post Office. A variety of automotive repair and filling stations with underground storage tanks and a junk yard were identified on the property prior to the post office by the Phase I ESA. City purchased the site and has redeveloped building to house a downtown Ottawa facility for Illinois Valley Communitee College. NFR letter being pursued through IEPA SRP.
