Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: Former city-block with multiple commercial storefronts and occupants. Past onsite operations include multiple printing operations, automotive repair, and a machine shop. All structures have been demolished on the property prior to Phase I and Phase II activities. The land is currently used for park/green space until a final redevelopment plan commences. On October 10, 2014 the IEPA approved the Remediation ives Report / Remedial Action Plan for the property and issued a Draft NFR letter on October 29, 2014. Remedial activity will include the excavation of a small area of impacted soil, which will occur as a component of the redevelopment's construction phase in order to reduce project costs. A final NFR letter will be issued upon removal of the impacted soil.
