Additional Property Attributes

2235 Third Street is a Brownfield, urban-infill development that will call for the construction of two new mixed-use buildings and the preservation and renovation of two former historic warehouse buildings. This LEED� Gold-Certified green residential project will include 196 residential units and 10,940 square feet of usable open space in the form of a large internal landscaped courtyard, a shared roof-top, private terraces and balconies, and several new �pocket plazas� along the Third Street frontage. Added Community benefits include a neighborhood-serving grocery store, and 6,000 square feet of on-site subsidized day care which will be available for neighborhood residents. This project will add approximately 200 new construction jobs for 2 years to the community and 90 new permanent jobs upon completion. The areas of soil impacted by lead contamination have been excavated and properly disposed of.
