Additional Property Attributes

The Phase I Environmental Site Assessment did not reveal evidence of recognized environmental condition in connection with the property. The completion of this ESA will assist in the possible future redevelopment of the site, primarily for affordable senior housing uses.

Former Use: The subject property is located on the southeast corner of Ruthrauff Road and Rillito Street intersection. In 1958, there were four structures located on the western and central portions of the subject property and the eastern portion of the subject property was used for agricultural purposes. Between 1958 and 1967, the structure on the western portion of the subject property had an addition constructed and although plow lines were still visible on the eastern portion of the subject property, that portion of the property no longer appeared to be actively used for agricultural purposes. Between 1972 and 1980, the structure that was located on the central portion of the property was demolished. Between 1980 and 2004, Ruthrauff Road formerly Romero Road was widened into a four-lane paved road that ran through the western portion of the subject property. As a result of the road construction, the structure located on that portion of the subject property was demolished. Currently, the western portion of the subject property contains a residence and there is another structure, a storage shed, to its southwest. The central portion of the subject property contains three foundations where chicken coops were reportedly once located. The eastern portion of the subject property contains a mobile home and there are unpaved roads bordering the subject property on its northern and southern boundaries.
