Additional Property Attributes

These county owned parcels are remnants from a transportation residental taking for a right-of-way widening project. The Phase I Environmental Site Assessment did not reveal evidence of recognized environmental condition in connection with the property. The completion of this ESA will assist in future redevelopment of the site, possibly for affordable senior housing residental type land uses.

Former Use: In 1958, there was a structure visible in the northwest portion of the subject property and three additional structures in the central portion of the subject property and the southern portion of the subject property was being used for agricultural purposes. Between 1967 and 1972, the three structures on the central portion of the subject property increased in size. Between 1990 and 2004, the three structures on the property were removed and/or demolished and the subject property became visibly smaller due to roadwork that occurred on the western boundary of the subject property. As a result of the widening, Ruthrauff Road formerly Romero Road transverses through the former western portion of the subject property and the structures that were located on that portion of the property have been demolished. Currently, the subject properties are vacant, undeveloped and divided into two sections. The sections are separated by an unpaved road that runs east-west through the south central portion of the property. The western boundaries of the properties contain brick walls which serve as sound barriers for traffic noise and there are storm drains located on the southern and northwest portions of the properties.
