Additional Property Attributes

Property consists of approximately 39 acres of land that is undeveloped with the exception of a dirt air strip Mina Airport, located on south 1/3 of property, which is operated by the Bureau of Land Management. Approximately 3/4 of the Property is located within an alkali flat. Portions of the property were used as a historic community landfill. Municipal garbage was placed on the surface and may have been burned. The historic legacy is scatted cans. Surface soils may be contaminated with metals or organics.

Former Use: Property consists of approximately 39 acres of land that is undeveloped with the exception of a dirt air strip Mina Airport, located on south 1/3 of property, that is operated by the Bureau of Land Management. Approximately 3/4 of the Property is located within an alkali flat. Residents are looking to develop the property into a park. The County did not want to complete the Phase II because there is no money to redevelop the site.
