Additional Property Attributes

Recognized environmental conditions RECs associated with the BTA Property were identified as the following: floor staining and leaking equipment, historical uses associated with the property, historical adjacent land usage, and former petroleum LUST sites in the vicinity. Arsenic was detected above the KDHE Tier 2 Residential Risk-Based limit RSK of 11 mg/kg were as follows: Sb-1 0-2 16 mg/kg SB-2 0-2 28 mg/kg SB-3 0-2 36 mg/kg and SB-6 0-2 18 mg/kg. It is recommended that the property owner place a land use restriction on the property.

Former Use: The Property has been used for industrial purposes since at least 1883, including a planning mill, machine works, and a foundry.
