Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The Site has a history of industrial use dating back to the 1840s when the site was developed as the Fuller Mill, a textile manufacturing facility. From the 1930s to the 1950s, Clinton Dye Works, a dye manufacturing facility, occupied the site. Amory Packaging Corporation, a manufacturer of injection molded plastic containers, occupied the property from approximately the 1960s to 1986. The Site is currcntly being renovated for commercial use. Approximately 482 c.y. of soil has been excavated from the former Mill Pond and 60 c.y. of soil has been excavatea from in front of the Loading Dock. The soil from both areas was placed in a Containment Cell constructed immediately adjacent to third area where polychlorinated biphenyls are present in soil beneath a concrete sub-basement. The Mill Pond and Loading Dock excavations were backfilled as was the PCB area. The parking lot which includes the Containment Cell and the PCB area was then paved and twelve inches of clean fill were placed over the former Mill Pond. The 36,000 SF single story building at the stie has been renovated into a modern commercial space/warehouse facility.
