Additional Property Attributes

The Site known as the Slemin Property, which served as agricultural cropland and a scrap metal yard, is an irregular shaped parcel located in Wahoo, NE. The property contains cropland, approximately 3 buildings including one residence, and wooded area. There was evidence that petroleum products were stored or used on site. A leaking 55-gallon drum and soil staining was observed during the Phase I Environmental Site Assessment. The former property owner cleaned off everything on the property before selling it to the City of Wahoo. The Wahoo Public Buildings and Grounds Association purchased the property shortly after completion of the Phase I Environmental Site Assessment to redevelop the site for a public park.
