Additional Property Attributes

The property is now a partially vacant and dormant former Sara Lee Knit factory which ws an underware manufacturing facility when in operation. The structures originally housed cutting, sewing, knitting, dyeing, packing, shipping, storage, office spaces, and associated machine and mechanical shops for routine operation of a textile mill. The property was initially developed by R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Storage by 1913 and by Pannill Knitting Company by 1927. Sara Lee Corp obtained the property in 1992.

Former Use: Some portions of the propety are currently leased however the bulk of the manufacturing facility is unused and abandoned
