Site will be part of the Gateway Trail that will reach the Cardinal Greenway, connecting several Indiana counties. City plans for the trail to pass through the Site, where the City would develop a green space with rest areas for trail users. There are some plans for recreational reuse as well.

Former Use: Was privately owned by Norma New. Site once had two multi-story buildings. Site was developed since the late 1800s with various uses. The buildings were demolished in 2011.
